Horseriding along the Mar Menor

Starting from the horse barn in El Puntal, next to the golf course, you will go along the steppes that lead up Cenizas mountain, a rocky peak that limits Calblanque.

From here you can see the old headquarters of the Guardia Civil, which have now been turned into a cabin, and you will also see the remains of the barrel guns and other weapons in bronze, belonging to the old forts that protected the entrance to Portmán and Cabo de Palos.

If you tie up your horse you can go down a winding path that leads you to the coves of Negrete Cape. From Las Cenizas continue along a path to Llano del Beal, through the mining mountain range. After lunch, return to the horse barns.
