The festivity of San Ginés de la Jara is held on August 25th and on the nearest Sunday there is a pilgrimage organised by the Fraternity of Pilgrims of San Ginés de la Jara, which is formed by hundreds of penitents on horse and carriage wearing their most spectacular costumes, and going from Cartagena to the Monastery dedicated to the saint, located near the Mar Menor, next to Miral mountain.

Here several events are held, such as making offerings to San Ginés, a flamenco service and typical dances of the area.
