La Mar de Músicas is becoming well-known as one of the best music Festivals in the world. On the one hand, specialists have said so after their follow-up and, on the other, so it is believed by the public taking part, which reached over 51,000 spectators in the last edition.

Since 1998, La Mar de Músicas is a full-right member of the European Forum of Worldwide Music, a forum including the main Festivals held in Europe.

The Festival takes place during the month of July and its main stage is the Parque Torres Auditorium, which is on a hill where you can see the port, the amazing archaeological remains of the Roman Theatre and the city. A privileged hill on the Mediterranean shores.

La Mar de Músicas collects a wide range of music of the world, a trip around the planet through the best music. The four stages of the Festival, distributed as emblematic points of the Historical Centre, are the platform to promote “other music”.

The Festival devotes a special section to the music by Spanish authors who add new melodies to the Spanish national scope, ranging from flamenco to singers-songwriters, and from folk to new music, where the only requirement is quality.
